Katharine Verso, MA, MIACP Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist
-
Katharine knows first-hand that life doesn’t always go to plan. As a mother, grandmother, and someone who has navigated separation, new beginnings, and big transitions, she brings both lived experience and professional training to her work as a therapist.
She holds a Master’s degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical) from The Tivoli Institute and is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. Katharine creates a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can untangle anxiety, grief, depression, family or relationship difficulties, menopause, chronic illness, or simply the feeling of being “stuck.” She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches — including Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychosynthesis, and Existential work — always tailoring the process to each person’s needs.
Clients often describe leaving sessions with Katharine feeling heard, understood, and better equipped to face life with clarity, resilience, and self-belief.
She offers sessions both in Dublin and online.
My approach
I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and completely free of judgement. My role is to listen, deeply engage, understand your unique story, and walk alongside you as you find clarity and resilience. I work in a collaborative way — blending different therapeutic approaches to suit your needs, whether you are navigating anxiety, chronic illnesses, grief, menopause, family challenges, or simply feeling stuck. Together, we can create a space where real change can happen.
Therapy in a safe, supportive space
Sessions take place in a private and comfortable setting, where you can talk freely without judgement. Whether you’re meeting me in person in Dublin or online from home, my aim is to create a space where you feel at ease, heard, and supported.
In-person and remote options
I see clients in Dundrum at Mind & Body Works, in a private and welcoming space.
If you prefer, sessions are also available online — so whether you’re nearby or further away, you can choose the option that feels most comfortable for you.
